Things to do in the area if you are spending a weekend:
Southend has fantastic visitor attractions and is close to London for those wanting to enjoy the sites with cheap train travel directly into East London with excellent tube connections but also you could always drive along the A13 directly to the Tower and along the north side of the Thames…Westminster is only a short drive at the weekend and parking around Limehouse, Fenchurch Street and Bank.
